What if my dog/pet doesn’t sit still?
Not a problem at all—most dogs don’t arrive perfectly trained, and they don’t need to be. Sessions are gently guided and paced with patience, allowing your dog to move, explore, and settle naturally. Some of the most beautiful images come from those unexpected moments—the curious glance or the playful energy. Your dog/pet doesn’t need to perform—just be themselves. You will be present to make your dog feel at ease and to help get the best performance out of your pet. And I will appreciate your participation during the session.
Can I be in the photos?
Absolutely! Our Family Portrait Sessions are designed to celebrate the whole family — pets and the people who love them. It's one of our most cherished offerings.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held wherever your pet feels most themselves. For most clients, that's the comfort of home — your yard, your living room, your world. We also photograph at a carefully chosen selection of locations in and around Montreal, each chosen for its beauty and atmosphere.
What should I bring?
Just your pet — and their favorite treats. We'll take care of the rest. If they have a beloved toy or a special collar they look great in, feel free to bring those along too.
What happens if it rains?
We'll reschedule, simple as that. Your session should be as beautiful as the photos — so if the weather has other plans, we'll find a better day.
How many images do I get?
It depends on your session. Every package includes a curated set of fully edited images with watermarks, ready to purchase from my photo lab— Ilana will present a gallery of the best shots, and you choose your favorites from there and order directly through the photo lab. You choose media, sizing, framing, and they put it all together and ship it straight to you (or we could arrange pick up in Montreal). You can purchase as many images as you want in all different kinds of sizes and formats.
Are sessions refundable?
Sessions are non-refundable, but you can reschedule your session or transfer your booking to a friend or family member with a pet, with at least 48 hours notice.
